Shoesmart Visit to BPIPI

As a form of seriousness for the welfare of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and local shoe craftsmen, Shoesmart cooperates with the Indonesian Footwear Industry Development Center (BPIPI). The collaboration began with Shoesmart's visit to the BPIPI office located in Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo, East Java, on January 21.

BPIPI and Shoesmart discussed the potential for cooperation in the footwear industry

The visit was received directly by Heru Budi Susanto (Head of BPIPI), Hariyono (Head of BPIPI's Design and Development Section), and Ruruh Satriyo Utomo (Head of Education and Training Section), and Alfiyan Darojat (BPIPI's Program Section).

The Director of Shoesmart, Andrew Tanuwijaya, believes that visiting the BPIPI office is important to expand relationships and optimize cooperation with MSMEs and local shoe craftsmen. "BPIPI has experience in providing coaching and training for local shoemakers. Shoesmart as a shoe marketplace that favors local shoe craftsmen must synergize with BPIPI," said Andrew.
