COLLABORATION TO IMPROVE FOOTWEAR INDUSTRY HUMAN RESOURCES

Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Surabaya Airport Branch on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 signed a collaboration to increase industrial HR competency with the Indonesian Footwear Industry Development Center (BPIPI). PT. Angkasa Pura I has an "upgrading" program for fostered partners.

The coaching program for IKM assisted by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Juanda Airport Branch. This year we have five fostered partners that we join the program. Two are IKM in the snack food industry which we registered with MUI Halal Certification and IKM Batik Industry which we registered for labeling certification Batik Mark in collaboration with the Center for Crafts and Batik. And 3 of them are fostered partners in the footwear industry whose business persons are responsible for our registration for training and certification of footwear pattern and design competency in collaboration with BPIPI.

The training was conducted from November 09 to November 19, 2020 with 3 (three) fostered partners, namely 1) Arti Collection, 2) Mandiri Jaya, and 3) Sandal Rallys, which was held in 2 (two) places, Mojokerto and Nganjuk with training materials manufacture of footwear designs and patterns. The competency test was conducted on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Indonesian Footwear Industry Development Center (BPIPI) office.

The result of this collaboration is expected to improve the profession or expertise of human resources from fostered partners engaged in the footwear sector. "We are very grateful for the good collaboration during our fostered partners' training and mentoring process. Hopefully, this certification will provide benefits, especially for increasing the competence of those in charge of businesses to develop their businesses further better," said stakeholder relations manager Yuristo Ardhi Hanggoro.
